YOO Montreal

Philippe Starck has made quiet the name for himself around the globe as a both a innovative designer and as an architect; most of us probably have at least one of his creatively designed objects in our homes at this very moment. Known for pushing the envelope of what design means, he is about to leave his mark on our skyline and turn Montreal’s real estate market on its ear. Welcome to YOO Montreal. YOO VIIICurious buyers, select media and local celebrities defied the elements and gathered for the launch of the building’s new sales office last Tuesday night. We came together to enjoy a preview of what’s to come with the building, meet John Hitchcock, one of Philippe Starck’s many collaborators and partner on this particular project and of course sip on Veuve Cliquot. YOO IThe bubbly flowed freely while we enjoyed freshly shucked oysters and delighted in canapés prepared on the spot by none other than Montreal’s very own and very famous haut-cuisine caterer, Agnus Dei. Busy waiters kept us fed while the stunning Virginie Coossa hosted the bustling event. Guests clamored under the yellow Veuve umbrellas to be first in line to get into the swanky sales office and maybe eventually be lucky enough to call YOO Montreal home. Here are a few more of our official shots of the night! YOO VI (Virginie Coossa) YOO IV YOO IX For more exclusive photos visit our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter @DayJobNightLife !
