Le Richmond in Old Montreal has been open for less than a year but in that time it remains the talk of the town and one of our city’s most frequented restaurants. During the Grand Prix weekend, they officially opened their terrasse and we were there for the red carpet opening event and an unveiling of something extra special. 
The new terrasse with protective walls and a retractable roof means that dining outside can be comfortable, no matter what Mother Nature throws at us (this year she has been especially generous). Rain or shine we can gather on this beautiful outdoor space and enjoy a meal while surrounded by garden fresh herbs and fresher air. 
During the exclusive opening we were served canapés from their extensive menu, freshly shucked oysters and bottomless glasses of delicious Duval Leroy. The owners gathered together to unveil an enormous painting by Montreal’s very own and very audacious, Stikki Peaches featuring the flawless Kate Moss; a truly unique piece.
With so much to offer it makes no wonder that Le Richmond continues it’s assent to the top spot where Montrealer’s continue to flock!
