Last week we attended the launch of the latest issue of Dinette Magazine, the unveiling of the new Aperitivo menu the W Montreal’s house restaurant, ÊAT, the opening of the new La Cage Brasserie Sportive at Complexe Dejardins and we got a look at the latest AS 98 collection of clothing for men and women at their Crescent Street store.
W Montreal and ÊAT launch Aperitivo
Happy hour is our favourite time of day in Montreal. Kicking back with a cocktail or two after a hard day’s work is a much deserved award. Last Thursday ÊAT (Être avec toi) at the W Montreal launched their new 5à7 menu. When you order two drinks, it comes with a shareable snack that you can choose from a specially prepared menu, created just for the 5à7 crowd. At the launch we sampled each of the selections which include grilled octopus, duck rillets, salmon gravlax and more. It’s a great way to cap off your day with a colleague or to kick off your night, catching up with a friend or two. From Wednesday to Friday, 5pm to 8pm. At ÊAT, the more the merrier.
A.S. 98 strutted their stuff last Thursday night at the unveiling of the Fall/Winter Footwear looks for men and women and their Crescent Street flagship store in downtown Montreal. With a special preview towards spring and summer of next year, we gathered and ogled the Italian designed footwear that’s both rugged and rural in its inspiration. Canapés and cocktails were served while members of the Italian design team were on hand to share their style inspiration and represent the essence of the brand. You can visit the store at 2065 Crescent Street or online here.
La Cage At Complexe Desjardins
Coinciding with the first game of the 2016-2017 hockey season, and a win for our Canadiens, La Cage Brasserie Sportive opened it’s latest restaurant, this time smack-dab in the middle of Montreal’s Quartier des spectacles at Complexe Desjardins. The new restaurant underwent a 2.5 million dollar renovation and certainly looks the part. The new space is a sports fans dream with giant screens covering almost ever surface making every seat, the best seat in the house. The restaurant can seat up to 270 people inside the restaurant and 40 people on the terrasse. The opening was a crazy as you could expect with celebrities, media, anthem signing and more. La Cage Complexe Desjardins opens to the public this week.
Dinette Magazine has quickly become an obsession for food obsessed Montrealers. The French language publication 6th issue is beautifully designed and produced and focuses on the dirt roads, the wide open spaces and the attractive quiet of rural Quebec. The launch featured a look at their new web-series, bubbly, tartar and more. Issue 006 is on stands now.
