2014 was a big year for the Vieux-Port Steakhouse. The restaurant, located in the heart of Old Montreal, has been a staple in our world famous restaurant scene and this year they proudly celebrate 31 years in business.
To underline the event, the Vieux-Port Steakhouse underwent a little remodelling and last month we were among a few honoured guests, friends and media invited to celebrate the new look and of course, the 31st anniversary.
We sipped on fine whiskey, wine and endless flutes of Moët et Chandon while simultaneously treated to canapés, oysters and samples of their regular menu.
To survive 31 years a restaurant scene as bustling as Montreal’s you need to be more than just the kitchen du jour. You need great food, an inviting ambiance and wonderful service. Vieux-Port Steakhouse has all these elements and that adds up to 31 years of loyal patronage.
We covered the restaurant in our dining section not long after our launch. Take moment to read it here.
With a fresh new look, a classic (yet slightly updated) menu and continued outstanding service, VP Steakhouse continues to wow its clients, new and old.
