The Holidays At Le Richmond

There are a number of reasons why I keep going back to Le Richmond. The larger-than-life decor is still as impressive as the first time I saw it, the ambiance is as lively as ever and the food keeps getting better. The main reason why I love going back to the restaurant and the market is because of the warm welcome we always receive. That’s why it is one of the best places in the city to celebrate the holidays between family and friends. From their Christmas brunch to their epic New Year’s Eve celebrations, they’re pulling out all the stops and so that we can celebrate in style.

The Holiday Brunch

I started with a deliciously creamy carrot soup that was topped with a sugary rosemary crumble. At the same time a plate of mini sun-dried tomatoes, grilled artichoke and fresh yogurt with berries landed on the table to compliment the starter. One thing is for sure, you don’t walk away hungry from a meal at Le Richmond.

It doesn’t get more festive than that. Ok, maybe one or two Christmas cocktails or a mimosa will make things a little more merry and bright.

This dish is a one of Le Richmond’s signature brunch dishes. The table also received a wreath shaped beet salad that was fresh and popped with flavours of dill, mint and earthy beets.

New Year’s Eve

15327470_1149128605182734_7853023836704405781_nOver the last couple of years Le Richmond has become well known for their lavish parties and this year’s New Year’s Eve gala will be no different. Promising a night of glittery glam, the theme is Midnight Blue, the menu will feature a buffet of gastronomical proportions and you should come, decked out in your evening wear finest to count down to the beginning of a brand new year!

The Market

Le Marche Italian has a slew of new decor items, gifts (including an amazing collection of Frasier Fir candles and more) and all the food and wine items necessary to bring your holidays to life. Le Marché Italien is one of my favourite places to shop in the city.
