Downtown Montreal has plenty of options when it comes to grabbing a quick bite but finding a good, quick bite isn’t as easy as you would think. The bulk of our city’s better lunch restaurants lie in areas like Mile-End, the Plateau and Little Burgundy but the number of great lunch places in the downtown core have vastly improved over the years. Parma café can be counted among some of the best Italian restaurants (for both breakfast and lunch) you’ll find downtown.
Featuring very fairly priced sandwiches, pizzas, soups, delicious meatballs, zesty salads and other delicious food to snack on, Parma Café gets your day started on the right foot and keeps you going right up to lunch where you get eat all over again.
Not only does the café feature a rustic dining area, a vast open kitchen and a big, bright front window where you can enjoy the food they prepare (the scent from the kitchen is almost as good as the taste of the food) but you can also have your food delivered.
They also offer their outstanding food for catering your parties at home or the office. Back in April I had them cater a small party and my guests raved about the food (especially the chicken sandwiches). You may want to try their new meatball sandwich but I warn you, one might not be enough.
