La Grande Chapiteau is back in Old Montreal and we couldn’t be happier. Cirque du Soleil is Montreal’s most important and most creative export to the world. We shine on the global stage as Cirque dazzles crowds with heart racing performances that seem to defy gravity. Cirque has returned to Quays of the Old Port with Luzia, a show inspired by the cultural richness of Mexico. The colourful show has been getting rave reviews since opening late last week.
This year’s show keeps the moment going before and during the show with a special VIP experience. VIP guests enjoy a dedicated VIP entrance, a premium ticket, a cocktail reception with open bar and delicious canapés created by Agnus Dei, one Montreal’s top caterers, complimentary parking and more. The VIP tent can hold between 60 and 240 guests and is equipped with audio capabilities making this a perfect gathering place for corporate events.
A selection of Montreal’s media got a sneak peak at the special VIP tent last week and we sampled the canapés that Angus Dei will prepare for the VIP guests. Among the mouth-watering creations are chocolate covered asparagus, savoury macarons, Mexican inspired beef and salmon tartare, a colour coded candy bar and much more. Having access to the Cirque du Soleil VIP experience kicks the show off on the right foot and keeps up the energy throughout the show, adding to the overall Luzia experience.
