Terrasse sur L’Auberge

Last week L’Auberge du Vieux-Port (in Old Montreal) launched their summer rooftop terrace and we were there to soak in the sun and sip on some crisp champagne. With the help of Moët et Chandon, L’Auberge invited Montreal’s finest to see how they’ve spruced up the place.

Not only do they have the sweetest panoramic view of the St. Lawrence River (including the quais of the Old Port) and the number one spot to relax and watch the fireworks but the new additions to the rooftop terrace are beautiful. A fabulous new structure has been erected on the north side of the terrace which offers a beautiful view of St. Paul Street which stretches on as far as the eye can see. Terrace lovers are now a little more protected from the scorching summer sunrays and the white sofas and fun furniture under the new wooden structure gives the terrace a Mediterranean flair.

I didn’t think they could have improved on an already beautiful location but they succeeded and the renovations an unexpected surprise. It’s worth checking out for a drink or two over the summer!
