I love a good party, so when I learned that Mechant Beouf, one of my favorite places in the city was going to be celebrating it’s 5th (!) birthday, I needed to be on the list, so I made it happen.
These are the nights that Montreal is famous for and the nights I live for. I know for a fact that on a regular night, Mechant Beouf can get pretty crazy, in a “good way”, of course.
Starting with a simple little 5à7 on Thursday night (we all know how much I love a little #Thirstday evening) featuring tunes spun by DJ E11even and DJ Alex May, and $5.00 pints and cocktails, I had no trouble clearing my calendar for what will be a méchante soirée, as we say here in Montreal. Needless to say, this will go on way past 7pm, into the happiest hours of the night.
Friday night is the big bash! This is the one I can’t wait for, mostly because one of my favorite groups, Bran Van 3000, is rumoured to be appearing. My source for this rumour is pretty solid though, so I may pass out from excitement when they come on.
