Going from day job to nightlife doesn’t always leave a lot of time to think about eating healthy. That fast food burger is often tempting as an easy fix to get us from hangry to happily satiated but isn’t great for fitting into those tight jeans or that tight dress. Freshii is a healthy alternative to the fast food that keeps us lagging behind.
Featuring energy boosting soups, salads, wraps, burritos, juices and breakfasts made from fresh greens, fruits and veggies, quinoa and more, this food is custom built to energize people on the go. The menu is quite diverse and provides meat as well as vegetarian and vegan options. Started in 2005 by Winnipeg native, Matthew Corrin, Freshii recently opened its first Montreal location on Park Ave just above Sherbrooke. Centrally located between McGill Univiersity, UQAM and our busy business districts, all it takes to get a fresh meal is a short walk and some fresh air.
Because Freshii doesn’t use traditional kitchen appliances in their restaurants, the company operates without leaving much of an impact on the environment. They use very little packaging, reducing waste and they have eliminated the need for energy hungry dishwashers and appliances, very cool indeed. There are over 100 Freshii locations in 60 cities around the globe with an average of two new locations opening every week with more opening soon in Montreal. Be sure to download the Freshii app from the iTunes App Store and pay directly from your phone! It’s pretty cool and a great way to pay and go without fussing with cards and cash!
You’re welcome in advance for the scoop!
