From the unassuming red door on St. Laurent, all the way to an astounding selection of whiskey and sake, Big in Japan is a great place to spend your Thursday, Friday or Saturday night. The bar uses space creatively and is beautifully lit by little oil lamps. The bar is surrounded rich velour drapes and exposed raw surfaces that adds to the underground in-the-know vibe. Once you arrive, you won’t want to leave. The punch bowls of bourbon, the great wine and beer will make it that much harder to leave.
DRESS UP: The crowd is well dressed (especially the bouncers) and put together so leave that print T at home, unless you cover it with a blazer.
