In Montreal, location is everything and Z Tapas, located on St. Laurent and René-Levesque is in one of Montreal’s bullseye locations. The recently opened Tapas and Cocktail lounge is located in the wonderful Zero1 Hotel (you can read all about that here) and is in the perfect place to be a prime hotspot. Here’s a look at the star-studded opening.
Montreal very socially active media, celebrities and party hoppers gathered last week for Z Tapas grand opening. Bubbly was popped and poured as we sampled items from the menu, chatted in the newly renovated space and gathered in the interior courtyard for dessert.
The decor is a blend of several different elements with the most outstanding being the captivating fuchsia coloured grand-piano that sits in the dining room. This will no doubt be a big draw for those who love a little live piano with their meal and it will be sure to wow hotel guests from around the world.
Z Tapas offers a variety of internationally inspired tapas for all tastes for lunch, dinner and late-night. From Mexican soup to polenta poutine, there’s something for everyone. There are full portioned meals like steak, Cornish hen and seafood as well. The cool cocktails are potent blends of homemade syrups, bubbly and spirits and perfect for a Montreal 5a7.
