This past June Toronto’s magnificent Storys building on Duncan Street was the setting for a formal chic, black tie affair. Famed Spanish jewelry line, Christian-Rex, made its grand North American debut in our country’s largest metropolis at a star-studded launch.
Having already taken Europe by storm and coveted by a vast array of celebs including Ne-Yo, Eva Longoria, Amaury Nolasco, Princess Stephanie and many more, Christian-Rex is now primed to take on the North American market.
The line’s designer, Peter Christian Rex hails from Denmark but has lived in Marabella, Spain for the past 15 years and continues to be inspired by his adopted surroundings. Originally created as a more cross-functional masculine jewelry line, Christian-Rex has recently started an expansion into creating fine jewelry for women as well.
The brand is not for the faint of heart but instead for the bad to the bone, chic rock-n-roller inside us all. The collection is made up of black-beaded necklaces and bracelets with pops of bright colour and Swarovski crystals. Christian-Rex is probably most easily recognized by its iconic skull and trillium charms.
