A World Of Wine

We are very excited to finally present you with an exclusive look at M. Mme, Montreal’s coolest new wine bar and restaurant. From the brilliant minds of Chef Stelio Perombelon (Les Chèvres, Les Cons Servants, Sinclair) and Hovig Kalanjian (Toi & Moi Café), M. Mme is an immersive experience into the delicious world of wine, food and the culture that they create. 

The hotly anticipated wine bar has been in development for some time and has just recently opened to rave reviews from around the city. Featuring over 660 labels (including 40 wines by the glass) from 18 countries around the world, M. Mme is a stylish invitation to travel the world of wine while indulging in Perombelon’s creative take on French-inspired cuisine. With a focus on locally sourced, fresh ingredients, the Chef adds his signature touch to plates that put the emphases on mouth-watering vegetables. The grilled mushroom and parmesan sandwich, the steamed omelette (topped with shrimp, shellfish mayo and coriander) and the butter-ham gougères are stand out items from the bar menu.

Whether you are looking to grab a quick bite with a glass of wine or enjoy a more elaborate meal with a perfect wine pairing, M. Mme offers both options. From the bar, the food choices range from a selection of snacks that are available until closing while other items (like the buffalo mozzarella salad, trout, duck breast and pan-roasted beef) are available until 11. The dining room behind the bar features three or four course table d’hôte menu or a five course tasting menu. Of course wine pairings are available at all times at both the bar and in the dining room. If cocktails are more to your liking, M. Mme also features an excellent assortment of inventive cocktails. The downstairs rooms at M. Mme are as elaborately decorated as the main dining room and bar area above. Designed with an event space in mind, the lower floor of the restaurant is fully equipped (featuring an independent and state-of-the-art audio visual system) to receive 55 people for corporate and private events. Adjacent to the event space is an 18 seat wine tasting room that’s perfect for a more intimate gathering, training session or media related event.

The atmosphere at M. Mme is astoundingly beautiful and features an emphasis on wood, brick and leather. This combination of primary materials creates a warm and inviting decor that allows people to enjoy great wine in a relaxed yet sophisticated setting. The restaurant’s decor was expertly created by Dimarco Ferrao Design.
