The ACCM’s (AIDS Community Care Montreal) Artsida art auction fundraiser draws hundreds of people every year in support of those affected by HIV and Hepatitis C in communities across the city. On March 12th art lovers will come together at the celebrated Musee d’art comtemporain for an exciting evening that will feature the works of 73 artists from Montreal and beyond.
This year’s event features the work by Kent Monkman, Daniel Barkley, Zilon, Alicia Lorente and Johan Jansson. The SDC du Village will present the Emerging Artist Award while architect, Claude Cormier will present the Audience Choice Award for Best Work.
Artsida has become one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, featuring some of the most provocative guests and artists from around the city. The fundraiser is also counted among the biggest fundraising events of the year in Montreal, making its contribution to the community essential and unequivocal.
The art auction fundraiser is preceded by a special preview to be held on Friday, March 3rd at 6:00pm at the Galerie Dentaire (1200, rue Amherst, Suite 102).
