L’New Luxe

It seems like yesterday that we clamoured to see what the all the fuss was at L’Gros Luxe on the Plateau. Fast forward to their fourth location (one in Mile-End, one in Longueuil and another one coming in Quebec City) now open in Little Burgundy on Notre-Dame, this local chain of restaurants has found success by offering amazing food in its uniquely designed locations.

While retaining similar elements in each decor, the menu features a selection of items unique to each location. L’Gros Luxe’s approach to delivering quality food at almost insanely cheap prices has given the restaurants an advantage over the competition. Those looking for a relaxed night out with great cocktails (especially those crazy Caesars) and tasty comfort food can enjoy themselves at l’Gros Luxe without breaking the bank. They also feature an excellent brunch on the weekends.

The decor is wonderfully dark, delightfully kitschy, uniquely moody and almost has a fairytale forest feel to it.
