Happy New Year! We’ve made it to January which means we are well on our way to spring, but before we start thinking about stripping off our winter clothes, let’s enjoy what January has to offer. Yes there’s snow and it’s cold but we survived the end of the world, hockey is back and more importantly, so is Happening Gourmand!
Starting this Thursday, on January 10th, Happening Gourmand celebrates its 6th edition with 8 restaurants in Old Montreal offering specialized table d’hôte menus with reduced prices to entice us to get out, face the snow and enjoy some really great food and drink.
Restaurants like BEVO, Tavern Gaspar, Restaurant Modavie and Vieux-Port Steakhouse among others will be offering menus at $23 (reduced from $36) while Restaurant Verses and AIX Cusine de Terrior will have their special menus reduced from $44 to $27. This year, a selection of restaurants are also offering a reduced price lunch menu! For curious people who have yet to try these great restaurants, this is your opportunity to do so while for returning clients, this is a nice reward for coming back year after year.
Happening Gourmand 2013 goes from January 10th to February 3rd so start making your reservations now so you don’t miss out. With this being the sixth year, the secret is out and the restaurants fill up pretty fast. It’s a great way to get yourselves into Old Montreal during an awesome season with plenty of activities that are guaranteed to help you work up an appetite.
