Holy Cheeses!

In what might be the best thing that’s ever happened since God invited food and drink, two of Montreal’s favourite places have come together in divine matrimony: McLean’s Pub and Le Cheese Food Truck. From Thursday to Saturday night, from midnight to 3am, the chefs at Le Cheese Food Truck will take over the McLean’s Pub kitchen to feed the masses with some of the best comfort food you can think of. They call this Le Pop Up because they pop up for only three nights a week (and it will only be for the next few months)! On the menu will be Le Cheese’s signature dishes including their famous Mac & Cheese, grilled cheeses, tater tots (pictured above – I would camp outside McLean’s just for that) and even deep fried cheesecake. Deep fried cheesecake deserves to be mentioned twice. On top of all this McLean’s will offer Le Pop Up customers $4 pints of Labatt 50 for each item ordered! Not to shabby. If you find yourself on Peel between 12 and 3am, this might be perfect answer to your midnight cravings!
